Hotel Holiday- Alla Finestrella - Bologna

Variety in breakfast options enhanced our stay.

The check-in process was overly frustrating. The staff was dismissive. We had to wait until 4 PM for our room despite a 2 PM check-in time, aggravating after traveling all day.

The staff was very nice and always willing to help us. The hotel was extremely clean, the breakfast was good. We definitely recommend this hotel. If you stay in this hotel, get the chance to go to a Tratoria which is in the same street, about 50 meters from the hotel. It is called Mariposa and was recommended by the Hotel staff. Not fancy, but typical (and delicious!!!) Italian food. It is run by a mother and her son. She is the one preparing the dishes... so you will get authentic Mamma's food :o) and the prices are also good.

Excellent location, approximately halfway between the train station and the centre of town. The staff were great, the rooms clean, modern and comfortable. Lots of shops and restaurants only a few meters away. Very good value for money. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The air conditioning barely worked. Not to mention the rude staff, who definitely woudl ve been better suited to a dark alley than a hotel lobby. Honestly expected a complimentary drink or something for all the trouble, but I just got treated like every other guest. What a shame.

The location is fantastic, just a quick walk to explore the city. The room was spacious and clean with a big bathroom and plenty of storage. I really appreciated the 24-hour reception, especially when our bus was late. Having drinkable water in the room was a nice touch. The staff were helpful and made things easy.

Great customer service provided. Newly renovated, modernly furnished units provided with TV, the same heating, as for instance. Incredible and stunning location very close to everything, easy to get around.

The bedrooms were fairly basic, but en suite good. There were no English language channels on room tv. The payment was taken off my credit card before my arrival-not good.

The staff were very accomodating and upgraded us to a suite which was lovely and spacious and very quiet and comfortable. Excellent location walking distance to the main attractions of bologna. Would stay again.

Staff is very helpful. Cleaning of the room is excellent. Coffee on the breakfast is not so bad as it can be. Hotel is good located - close to main square and to the central station. В отеле рускоговорящий персонал

Check-in was after 14.00 while in the booking confirmation it should be after 12.00. Hotel was in process of renovation and there was a hole in the ceilling where new air-conditioning system should be.

Had a blast with friends here! The location is ideal for exploring nearby attractions like the local markets and historical sites. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were cute and helpful.

One huge downside was a guy at the reception who was really rude and made us feel unwelcome every time we interacted with him.

The room I was gıven bore absolutely no resemblance to the room I booked.I Booked a double for single use (20 sqm) and was given a tıny (10) sqm single.This,in my opinion is the worst a hotel can do,since ıt is very hard for a guest to start insisting on a change when you arrive at a pree-paid hotel after a virtualy sleepless night,knowing that to raise a fuss means that you have to walk around town looking at different hotels.I Honestly do not think anybody would bother for a 2 night stay,and the hotel knows this!!! The street the hotel was located in is a bit run down,but not realy that bad.

well located for city trip, halfway between central station and city centre,10 min walking distance. clean hotel/rooms, friendly services, many restaurants close by

missed an english or german or french speaking TV station, all were only italian speaking TV stations
